more along the theme of the last photo: mostly obscuro. yes, Paris and the city of lights, but it always troubles me (alert: first world problem!) that my photographs of Paris tend not to be understood by me. yes, I like some photos. yes, it is great to have my own versions of Parisian photos. however, for a city that I think is quite intertwined with my way of thinking, I fail to see a way to express this photographically. perhaps now, there is a hint to start... or a way in of itself. if I was a photographer, then I would have made a point to exploit the moments at Tuileries that had these desired ingredients, as well as in other parks, and small streets. however, there was a more urgent need to meet friends for dinner than wait for the 30 minutes, or so, as the park empties, and before it is closed to the public and night is over the skies. this is when the imprint of people affects the arrangements of chairs in the park. have I said how this is yet another opportunity to be with someone... looking for these visions in the park?
